![]() Traffic Global loads everything in the background and is usually ready to go as soon as your flight starts. This performance-friendly program is also compatible with all third-party airports and includes seven controllable external views and three control windows, all of which will be covered in the review. Besides authentic airline liveries, Traffic Global includes full 3D sound as well as lighting and effects. New or altered aircraft liveries can easily be added and do not require any additional configuration. Traffic Global includes 65 aircraft types and over 860 liveries covering most of the world’s airlines, this program adds over 600,000 AI flights to X-Plane 11 (Windows), enhancing more than 3,000 global airports with complex, multi-day flight schedules. So, I'm at a complete loss at the moment. If you are like me and are frustrated by the lack of AI traffic in the X-Plane 11 simulator or have simulator plugins installed, either free or premium, but have to setup each flight in order to have other traffic at the airport, then Just Flight’s Traffic Global may be for you. On a whim, I checked to see what the Config.XML file has in C:\Users\\AppData\Local\PilotEdge\PilotClient\, but that directory doesn't exist on my system. I've hunted through the forums looking for others who might have had the same issue, but so far nothing like this (that I've found). So I started timing it by starting a timer the moment I connected to PE, and I lose ATC almost on the dot at 3 minutes and 30 seconds every time. PE still says it's connected, but it's acting like it lost the connection entirely.Īfter dealing with this for a while and trying to troubleshoot it, the problem seemed to be happening at a regular time. I've also excluded it from my antivirus program. I've opened port 8081 on my router to ensure that traffic is passing through, and made sure XPlane is an allowed App in my system's firewall. I've tried using the volume knob, thinking maybe I somehow dropped the volume, which doesn't work. When I can hear ATC, I can also transmit fine - when I lose them, however, my transmissions are also lost. I can still hear that communication is happening on the PE Receiver, but nothing's coming through XPlane (which is interesting - the PE Receiver doesn't seem to ever lose ATC). I log into PE, and I can hear the controller fine - then I lose them. I decided to reinstall X-Plane 11 from scratch, due to some other issues I was having (copied the install folder over after an OS wipe). I reinstalled the PilotEdge plugin last night before a flight, hoping to fix this issue, but it didn't resolve it. ![]() The rest of the log file is filled with the last line of the "falling behind" error above (with different times and deltas though).
